How we handle your information

Who we are
Aditra Trust Foundation, founded in 2025 by H.M. Thilini Bhagya Premalal and W.D. Adithya Navindu Costa, is responsible for this website and for the personal information described below. Contact us at [email protected] or on +94 76 209 3038.
Browsing this website
- The website uses no cookies and no advertising or tracking tools.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.
- The website loads its heading font from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open a page.
When you use our contact form
- The form collects your name, email address, optional phone number and organisation, the topic and your message.
- The form is delivered to our email inbox by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service. Our email is provided by Google Workspace.
- We use your details only to reply to you and to manage the funding, donation, volunteering or concern you raised.
When you message us on WhatsApp
The WhatsApp form on our website only prepares your message. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp, owned by Meta, handles the message under its own privacy policy. We use your number and message only to reply to you.
How long we keep information
We keep general messages for up to two years, and financial records for as long as the law requires. Concerns are kept confidential and shared only with people who need to act on them.
The families we support
We publish photographs or stories of the families we support only with their consent, and a parent or guardian's consent for children. We cover children's faces to protect their privacy, and we never publish names, home locations or health details that could identify a family. Anyone can withdraw consent, and we will remove the material from our website.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond promptly. We do not sell or rent personal information. We follow Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, whose main obligations for organisations take effect on 1 January 2027.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date above.
